James brings decades of leadership in petroleum and chemical engineering to TR Operating. Previously, he created significant value through CO₂ projects in Wyoming, most notably with Green Rock, LLC, which was sold to Encore prior to its acquisition by Denbury. Throughout his career at Anadarko and Union Pacific Resources, he led EOR teams and engineering groups responsible for hundreds of millions of barrels of reserves and capital investments exceeding $500MM. 

Scott brings extensive experience in the development and operation of CO2 EOR and CO2 storage projects. Before joining TR Operating, he led multidisciplinary teams at Denbury developing the next generation of CO2 projects. In his role as a Manager and Chief Geoscientist he oversaw Denbury’s entire portfolio of CO2projects across the Gulf Coast and Rockies Regions including Denbury’s Class VI carbon storage business. Scott began his career at ExxonMobil as a Geoscientist where he developed the skills needed to describe and characterize the subsurface while working a large variety of exploration and development projects across the globe.   

 Bryan represents the Hume family interests in TR Operating and brings 15 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience across diverse industries. Since joining TR full-time, he has overseen all non-technical operations, government relations, and administrative management, and has been a primary liaison for engineering and regulatory matters. Bryan plays a key role in TR’s business development and strategic partnerships, leveraging strong relationships with vendors, state and local representatives, and regulatory bodies. 

 Jason brings extensive expertise in CO₂ flood operations with a focus on Wyoming’s Salt Creek and Monell Fields, two of the most prolific tertiary recovery projects in the U.S. Since 2006, he has been involved in all aspects of CO₂ project development — from planning and production to HSE, regulatory compliance, pipeline operations, and field execution. Prior to consulting for Exxon/Denbury on CO₂ EOR in the Cedar Creek Anticline, Jason held leadership roles at Contango, Fleur de Lis Energy, and Anadarko Petroleum, where he oversaw workover and drilling activities and large-scale field operations.
